Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."  - Matthew 19:14

 

Our church loves all of God's children and we have the programs to show it!

 

Wednesday night is Youth Club when we open our doors to children age 3 (diaper free) through the 8th grade. Child care is available for children under the age of 3 if their parents choose to attend with their youth.

Starting at 6:00 a snack is shared. The church provides a healthy snack for everyone. Following this, everyone goes to lessons according to their age. First they practice music or puppets then they go to religion classes.

 

The third Sunday of each month from October through March is designated as Youth Sunday when our young people participate in the service sharing their music, song and puppet shows.

 

Sunday evenings the senior high classes "Acquire the Fire" during time all their own. Meeting the 2nd and 4th Sundays during the months of September through April teens from 9th through 12th grade gather for a time of Christian fellowship. One Sunday is a time for fun and various activities are planned that everyone enjoys. The other Sunday is spent in some form of community service, assisting those in our church as well as the less fortunate in our town. During the year they attend sports games and Christian concerts in the area as well.

 

Every summer the high school youth go on  mission trips someplace in the United States. They have been everywhere from Indian reservations to mountain tops to inner cities. They come away with a better understanding of their place in God's world.

 

Child care is provided in our nursery during church services, youth club and special events. The caregivers there are all Christians who will rock, play and read to the children during their stay.

 

Sunday School meets between church services and is provided for children from age 3 through high school. Curriculum used is Bible based.  Classes taught are appropriate to each age group. Our teachers are all enthusiastic volunteers led by the holy spirit who share the Good News in exciting ways each week.
