Organist - Linda

Linda has lived in Burlington for 25 years and during that time has had the privilege of serving as organist at several area churches. Her first organ instructor was also the choir director at her hometown church in Onawa, Iowa and she was drafted into service at the age of fourteen! Her instructor was a wonderful musician - an also her most severe critic! Because her instructor was always present for the services, Linda knew that her weekly lessons would inevitably address any shortcomings from the previous Sunday! Most of Linda's working years were spent in the field of secondary education. In retirement she enjoy being involved with the music program at Hospice House, tutoring students at SCC and spending time with her family. George and Linda have five grown children and six grandchildren. They both like reading, movies and traveling
